One film. Three ways to begin.

How a single automotive service can become several clear creative ideas — starting with the first few seconds.

Three openings. One shared film.

  3. The choice of moodShared lighting story

Start with the service people can recognise.

A lighting installer has a simple transformation to show: a familiar cabin takes on a different atmosphere. The creative question is how to introduce that change. We can begin with a visual reveal, a feeling the owner recognises, or the choice of colours itself.

Our Mercedes ambient-lighting concepts explore those three starting points. Each gives the viewer a different reason to enter the same core film. The car, service and final visual story stay connected.

Three openings, three creative angles.

The transformation: “Same car. A whole new atmosphere.” This opening leads with the change the service creates. It is a direct way to connect the ordinary interior with the finished, ambient-lit space.

The missing detail: “Premium car. Something still missing?” This version begins with a question about how the interior feels. The lighting becomes an answer to that question.

The choice of mood: “One interior. Three different moods.” Here, the starting point is personalisation. Colour is introduced as a way to choose the character of the cabin.

Keep the rest of the story coherent.

A new opening needs a natural handover into the main sequence. In these Mercedes versions, the first shots and spoken hook change before the films return to the same lighting story. Colour, framing and the moment of the cut help the new beginning belong to the rest of the edit.

That shared core makes the difference between the versions easy to understand. The collection demonstrates creative alternatives; it does not claim that one hook has already outperformed the others in a paid campaign.

Sometimes the whole concept changes.

Our Audi screen-upgrade films take another approach. The direct before-and-after version makes the product change clear. A second version turns the installation into a miniature worksite. A third adds a small presenter, voice and captions to explain the idea.

These are three executions of the same service brief. They explore how the story is told throughout the film, while the Mercedes series explores different ways into a shared sequence. Both approaches can be described clearly before production begins.

A useful brief starts with four questions.

What service are we showing? What visible change can the customer expect to understand? Which feeling or question should introduce it? What should the viewer remember at the end?

Answer those questions and the opening becomes a deliberate creative choice. The vehicle, setting, movement, captions and sound can then be planned around one clear message. Start with the idea you want the customer to recognise, and let the film give it a shape.
